Compared to other countries, admission procedures of US universities, schools, colleges and institutes are highly competitive for international students. The procedure is even more competitive in the top educational institutes.
Universities and colleges have their own selection criteria and decide which student meets those criteria. Most U.S. schools encourage international students to contact them at least one year before they plan to enter that school. You must apply to each college and university of your interest separately.
