The SSAT – Secondary School Admission test is administered by SSATB – Secondary School Admission Test Board. The SSAT is NOT a test of College Board and in no way linked to SAT – Scholastic Aptitude Tests (SAT Reasoning or SAT Subject Tests).
The SSAT exams are conducted as two separate exams-
The SSAT Lower Level Exam is administered for students in Grades 5 – 7.
2. The SSAT Upper Level Exam is administered for students in Grades 8 – 11.
The SSAT exam is primarily administered in the states and union territories of United States and Canada including other world locations. Nearly 700 schools (Junior High and High Schools) in different world locations use SSAT score for admission.
The SSAT – Secondary School Admission Test offered as-
National Test: The SSAT National Test (SSAT National and International Test Administrations) is offered by SSAT Board in 50 United States and Territories and 76 other nations. More than 750 test sites administer SSAT National Test.
Flex Test: The member schools of SSAT board can administer SSAT anytime through out the year. This provides an additional degree of flexibility to test takers, educators and parents.
